Had a Merry Christmas but it's over now and time to buy something for yourself. I have just listed a few novelty yarns on etsy that you might be interested in, and if not there are lots more there. I am having trouble getting it back up to 100 or more, which "they" recommend, but I am trying.

I just listed a pretty little eyelash in a seafoam grey, no label, but a typical Trendsetter Yarn eyelash, long silky lashes and very soft.

I also listed a Charm by Trendsetter Yarns, it is a multicolor with brown base and wine, blue and tan flags and chenille bits. Charm is a true novelty yarn, adds a bit of pizzazz to whatever you knit.

Christmas is Coming and your tree is naked without these.

Well, I just reactivated my sallycrafts store on etsy, I plan to add some craft supplies to destash, but right now it is just my ooak lightbulb ornaments, just what your tree needs, or better yet give this unique gift to someone else. I have been making and selling them for 10 plus years and they sell pretty well. Check them out at www.sallycrafts.etsy.com for more.

Cyber Monday Hoping for Sales

Well, it is cyber monday and as usual it snuck up on me, but I managed to list 5 new novelty yarns on my threadsinthebed store, 4 from Trendsetter, Joy, Charm, and 2 eyelashes, and a novelty from Laines du Nord called Portofino which is adorable.

I also renewed some buttons and beads in my buttonsbanglesandweeds store, since I haven't been in my stash down here to find new ones. Anyway, check out all the Team ESST Cyber Monday promos on http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=6363424. I am on page 9, but check everyone out, the supply sellers on etsy supply street team are the best and I will admit I do as much buying as I do selling.

I haven't been blogging lately as personal situations have interfered with my life. Mom passed Oct. 24th and life has been so different. I don't mean to make this sad, because she was 91 and lived a long and beautiful life, Dad passed in March 2009 so they are together again. She told her nurse in April that she wanted to stay around and play bingo and watch movies with her, but she wouldn't make it to her next birthday, which would have been Nov. 7th.

I have been neglecting my two etsy stores lately, had to put them on "vacation" and am finally
starting to list items again. Have added some lovely new destash from my yarn mountain on my http://www.threadsinthebed.etsy.com and some buttons and beads have also been added to my http://www.buttonsbanglesandwee.etsy.com store. Check them out. I also have found a huge amount of novelty yarns to list including many Trendsetter, Crystal Palace and lots of other "name brand" yarns.

I am very proud to be a member of the ESST, Etsy Supply Street Team, and both stores are
included. Check out the etsy supply team blog at http://teamesst.blogspot.com for many
etsy stores selling all sorts of supplies. I will try to be more diligent in my posting.

EtsyFAST Team September Challenge

I just entered my first woven shawl in the September Challenge - Songs - for the EtsyFAST team (Fiber Arts Street Team). I wove it on my Knitters Loom that I bought myself for Christmas last year and it took a while but I am so pleased with how it came out. Measuring 14" wide by 68" long, 88" with the 2 10" fringes, it is lightweight and colorful. So what else could the song be but Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors. Now, I need to see if I can insert a photo or two here. If not click on my etsy store threads in the bed.

Team ESST Weekend Extravaganza

This weekend, Sept. 5 and 6, the Etsy Supply Street Team is sponsoring the Weekend Extravaganza for September, and all Etsians are invited to join in, not just supply sellers, but also handmade and vintage. My etsy store ThreadsintheBed will be adding new novelty yarns for the occasion, and I have just begun listing vintage buttons in my Buttonsbanglesandweeds
etsy store. Please check out Etsy and the TeamESST threads to add your comments. Sally
